Recovery Support Services
Substance Use Disorders
YDP’s Peer Recovery Support program helps fill in the gap for at-risk youth that often have inpatient and outpatient treatment for individuals with Substance Use Disorders. We do this by focusing on recovery first and helping our youth rebuild their individual purposes to become an asset to their community and their future.

Peer recovery support is characterized by the provision of non-clinical peer support, which can include activities that engage, educate and support the individual as they make the necessary changes to recover from substance use disorder.

As a Peer Recovery Support Provider we strive to push the important part of the treatment and recovery continuum, and we focus on helping create an environment and community where recovery is supported and individuals are working towards a better community.
